WOW Media and its affiliates donated $175,000 to Mayor Butts’ campaign, including $25,000 just days before he signed a 40-year deal granting the billboard company exclusive rights to public streets, sidewalks, and medians. This deal is worth hundreds of millions of dollars to WOW Media and was done behind closed doors without a single public hearing.
